Salesperson License Transfer Instructions:

Now that you have signed your ICA and paid the onboarding fee, your application is complete and it's time to affiliate your license with Realty of America!

Existing Licensees

To transfer your existing license to Realty of America, follow these steps:

• Please request that your current broker release your license with the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). We are unable to affiliate your license with ROA until this happens.
• Once your license is no longer active with the current broker, please contact the Georgia Managing Broker at ga.broker@realtyofamerica.com, so they can affiliate your license to ROA with GREC. 
  NOTE: If your license was last renewed in Inactive status you will need to complete the GREC Change Application form.  The Georgia Managing Broker will send you this form, if required.  Please complete and submit to GREC, following the instructions on the form.  
• If you are a Broker/Qualifying Broker, you will need to first apply for an associate broker license.  Please reach out to ga.broker@realtyofamerica.com as the broker has to write a letter to GREC on your behalf.  Once your Associate Broker license is issued it can be affiliated with ROA.  

New Licensees

To apply for a new real estate license, follow these steps:

• Prior to affiliating with a brokerage, you MUST first pass the licensing examination. Once you have successfully passed the salesperson licensing examination, please request your Georgia Managing Broker send you the GREC Sponsoring Broker form to complete by emailing them at ga.broker@realtyofamerica.com. The Georgia Managing Broker will assist you with submitting it to GREC for license issue and affiliation with Realty of America.
  

After completing the above steps:

Your Managing Broker will receive a message from the Georgia Real Estate Commission confirming the license affiliation. To transfer your FMLS and/or GAMLS and Board/Association membership please reach out to ga.broker@realtyofamerica.com, and the GA broker team will assist you, as they must add you to their roster.
